You can sideload any normal Android app and use a mouse and keyboard in place of touch input.
If you plan on taking advantage of Nvidia Gamestream, you can just use the web browser on your PC, by adding the executable (example: firefox.exe) to your games list in Geforce Experience. Use a wireless mouse and keyboard connected to the Shield, and you’re all set. Works really well.
